Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2021 Telluride is available in four trim packages, all with either 7 or 8-passenger seating: the baseline LX, which has a MSRP of just under $32,190; the S, which adds heated front seats and a power sunroof: the EX, which comes with leather seats and a 10.5-inch display screen: and the SX, which adds a second sunroof, 20-inch alloy wheels featuring a black finish, and a Surround-View Monitor (SVM) yet still clocks in at under $42,500.
All 2021 Tellurides come with a 3.8-liter Lambda DOHC 24-valve V6 engine boasting 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and a 5,000-pound towing capacity. Despite its muscular powertrain, the Telluride front-wheel drive manages to get a competitive 23 combined miles per gallon.
Enjoy the exhilaration of an automatic transmission with Kia’s standard Sportmatic automatic manual driving mode. Choose from among 4 different drive modes available at the turn of a dial: Comfort, Eco, Sport, and Smart. Ensure a smooth ride at all times with available self-leveling rear suspension. And for drivers who want the option of better control of the road in adverse weather conditions, all Tellurides are available in all-wheel drive.
The features that come “standard” on the Telluride are anything but. These include heated front seats, a leather steering wheel cover, an 8-inch touch-screen display, and Porsche-like grab handles on the center console. Choose one of the higher trim levels to experience leather seats, reclining dual captain’s chairs that slide forward at the touch of a button for 3rd-row access, dual sunroofs, and a top-of-the line audio system that includes Harman-Kardon speakers.
The Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH) system helps securely install child seats with two latches in the second row and one in the third. An advanced airbag system monitors the severity of certain impacts to help manage airbag inflation. Help prevent rollback with Hill-Start Assist Control (HSAC). Plus, enjoy more precise handling in a variety of situations with active Electronic Stability Control (ESC).
